What is Scrapbooking?

Scrapbooking is a craft that simply involves placing photos in albums that are archivally sound & photo safe. Mounting your photos in archival albums ensures that your photos will be around for many years to come.

Preserving your photos this way also gives you a place to write about the events in your life, to label who are in the photos, what they are doing & where the events took place. In short, each scrapbook is a mini history about your life.

Questions

How Do I Find The Time?

If you wait for the time to scrapbook you’ll never find it! As with anything that’s important to you, you need to make the time. The best way to make progress is to sign up for Crop N Shop sessions & Crop Days, put them on your calendar & make them a priority.

your life.

What If I’m Not Creative?

This is the biggest myth of Scrapbooking! You don’t have to be creative to make albums. There are tons of idea books, magazines & creative ideas to help you out.

Getting together to crop with other Scrapbookers is a wonderful way to get new ideas & help with ideas for your pages.

How Do I Get Started?

Start with some current photos. After you develop your skills you will better understand your new hobby. You will need to decide what type of album you are going to create (chronological or theme) & organise your photos accordingly. We recommend that you stay away from special photos like wedding & heritage until you have some experience.
